Abstract

146,688. King, W. May 26, 1919. Splashing-apparatus.-A spray-producer stated to be applicable to spraying for horticultural and agricultural purposes, for humidifying air in rooms, or for sewage deodorizing, or for spraying oils for liquid-fuel engines, comprises a supply-pipe B to which is attached a socket C, a frame D adjustable on the socket and provided with knife-edges E on the inner portion of the side walls, and a hollow sleeve F mounted in the frame co-axial with the socket C and supporting a headed plug H against which the liquid impinges. The density of the spray can be regulated by regulating the height of the frame D on the pipe B, and the pipe B may be provided with a spike for insertion in the ground and with a branch pipe L for attachment to a hose.
