Abstract
596,198. Plant spraying. ASHTON, V. J. R. July 25, 1945, No. 19008. [Class 6 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] In an apparatus for supplying water or liquid manure to plants, the container 10 is mounted on a tripod consisting of the legs 16 and a retaining ring 18, and has a spigot connection 12 to a sparge pipe 14 with holes 21. This pipe is laid under the line of cloches to be watered. A perforated cone 19 forms a strainer over the spigot outlet at the base of the container.
