Breech actions, sliding breech-block. - Consists in securing the barrel of an automatic pistol by a bayonetjoint connexion comprising a stud b, having projecting wings c, d on the barrel a, and a corresponding recess, with an interrupted flange, in the frame. The stud is inserted when the barrel is held at right-angles to the frame, and is locked by swing- ing the barrel about the axis of the stud.
