Abstract
1463982 Spanners and wrenches FIAT SpA 8 Oct 1974 [5 Nov 1973 2 May 1974] 51181/73 and 19347/74 Heading B3N [Also in Divisions F1 and F2] A multiple spanner, for screwing a sparking plug 8 into a threaded bore 14 in a cylinder head and for tightening a lock-nut 19 on the plug 8 has two coaxial tubes 21, 23. The inner tube 21 has a hexagonal socket at its lower end, to engage a hexagonal nut 13 integral with the plug 8. The inner tube is rotated by a tommy bar 22, while the outer tube 23 is rotated by a projection 25. At the lower end 24 of tube 23 is a hexagonal socket for the lock-nut 19 or if the lock-nut has a castellated upper rim (not shown) there are provided complementary castellations.
