1460727 Anchor bolt D M REES 16 Jan 1974 [7 Feb 1973 21 May 1973] 6103/73 and 24222/73 Heading B3C [Also in Division F2] An anchor bolt comprises a shank 10 and a drilling head 11 screwed thereon, the drilling head 11 being used to drill the hole for the bolt and then be replaced by a non drilling head for anchoring of the bolt. The drilling head may include hardened integral teeth or may have an inset tip or teeth of a hardened and sintered material. Flats 15, 16 are provided on the shank and drilling head for engagement by spanners.
