Abstract

1,223,266. Nail. SENCO PRODUCTS Inc. 17 Oct., 1968 [19 April, 1968], No. 49240/68. Heading F2H. A nail comprises a shank 10 pointed at one end, a head 14 having a notch 18 extending from the periphery of the head to the shank and being of suitable configuration to receive the shank of another nail identical, and a collar 16 on the shank immediately beneath the head, the collar having a notch 20 coterminous with the notch in the head. The nails may thus be arranged in strip form, as in Fig. 1, the angle formed by the line of the heads being preferably at least 30 degrees. The shank is preferably provided with four flats equally spaced about its periphery one of the flats being at the base of the notches.
