Abstract

1458006 Aerials MAXVIEW AERIALS Ltd 20 Nov 1973 [24 Nov 1972] 54424/72 Heading H4A An aerial comprises a folded dipole 16 shaped as an isosceles triangle, and includes a resonator 18a, to increase the bandwidth and render the impedance resistive, and two passive elements 18b, 18c forward of the resonator. Directors 20a-20t and a reflector 14 may be provided. The dipole lies in a plane parallel to that of the resonator. The reflector comprises two grids of parallel rods brazed to support rods 14a, 14b. Extensions parallel to the boom 12 or parallel to the sides 16c, 16d of the dipole may be provided at the ends of each reflector rod.
