Abstract

1455558 Burners WSA ENG CO Ltd and R CESCOTTI 28 Dec 1973 [30 Oct 1972] 49979/72 Heading F4T A feed circuit for a gas burner requiring a fast/slow high/low temperature has a main gas line 1 and a main air line 5 connected to a main injector 4 via solenoid-operated valves 2, 6 and needle valves 3, 7 and has a pilot gas line 10 and a pilot air line 12 connected via needle valves 13, 14 to a pilot injector 11 where output line 15 feeds into that 16 of the main injector. Line 16 feeds burner heads 19 via manifold 17 and hoses 18. The solenoid valves 2, 6 are operated by a foot-actuated switch 8 (or a process timer). The needle valves may be incorporated in duplex injectors and the injectors may be fed with more than two combustion constituents.
