[Also in Division H2] A piezoelectrically ignited gas torch with a piezoelectric generator and a gas valve operated by a single control handle has a nozzle 48 connected to a gas supply conduit 46 and a needle electrode 82 mounted coaxially in the nozzle in a ceramic sleeve 80 and provided with a tapered end 83, a control lever 62 operating both the piezo-electric generator and, by means of a push rod 84, a shut-off valve 34.
