Abstract

1374195 Burner nozzles for lighters OHSAWA MFG CO Ltd 12 June 1972 [22 Oct 1971 22 Nov 1971 (2)] 27336/72 Headings F4F and F4T A burner nozzle assembly for a gas-fuelled lighter utilizing a piezoelectric element, comprises a nozzle 1 having a bore 2, and at least two mixing members (as shown there are three mixing members 4, 5, and 10) each of the mixing members being in the form of a substantially non-combustible, helically-wound coil having an opening defined between its turns, the mixing members being arranged in substantially coaxial relationship and each having a portion extending beyond an end portion 1a of the nozzle. The free ends of the respective mixing members may be aligned or staggered. In use, the mixing members are said to mix the fuel gas with the ambient air.
