Abstract

1,151,433. Gas burners. GEO. BRAY & CO. Ltd. 10 May, 1967 [21 July, 1966], No. 32871/66. Heading F4T. An aerated gas burner includes a body 1 with a ceramic injector 3 and a first set of air ports 4 and a mixing tube 5 which is peened into a washer 6 resting on shoulders 7 formed in the bore of the body 1 and is axially supported to form a second air port 8 communicating with the ports 4. A burner head 9 engaging the tube 5 has slotted flame ports 10 formed in a hemispherical projection and circular holes 11 acting as flame ports for retention gas, the mixing tube 5 having small holes 14 to feed said ports 11.
