A gas burner for use with natural gas has a body 1 with bores 5, 6 connected by gas supply bores 16, a further bore 7 into which is screwed an air supply tube 10 and which has four air supply openings 9 passing through the body, and a fan-shaped flare head 12 provided with further air holes 15 so that when the body 1 is screwed into a gas supply pipe gas flows through the bores 11 to the flare head 12 and air drawn through the bores 15 and the tube 10 mixes within the head 12 and burns above the slit formed by the head.
