1454297 Housing pigs M S FORINTON 10 Dec 1973 [8 Dec 1972] 57074/73 Heading AIM [Also in Division El] A concrete pig-sty includes at least one cavity wall formed of pre-cast concrete panels 7 having insulating material 14 (e.g. expanded polystyrene or foamed polyurethane) in the cavity. The concrete floor is laid over a plastics foam and a polyurethane sheet and slopes down to a dung channel 3 covered by a removable grating 4. The roof includes a feeding hatch 26. Ventilators 21 are provided.
