Abstract

145,413. Wilhelmi, O. Sept 16, 1918, [Convention date]. Concrete vessels.-Ships built of concrete are constructed in a floating mould a without the use of internal shuttering by laying the concrete over a substantially horizontal area of the mould, and when set inclined the mould by filling one of the hollow sides with water. The mould when inclined presents a fresh horizontal surface to receive concrete for the manufacture of a fresh section of the ship. The whole of the ship is thus made in successive sections by varying the inclination of the mould.
