Abstract

1452368 Containers ELOPAK A/S 11 Oct 1974 [26 Oct 1973] 44058/74 Heading B8P A container, e.g. for dairy produce, is formed by folding a blank 3 of plastics-coated cardboard, an edge portion 3<SP>1</SP> being folded double to co-operate with a groove 6 formed around a closure member 4, which groove 6 includes a shoulder portion 8 for engagement with the free edge 3<SP>11</SP> of the doubled-over portion 3<SP>1</SP>. The container is preferably of rectangular section, defined by pairs of parallel walls, the portion 3<SP>1</SP> being heat-sealed to the main body of the blank 3, and the closure member 4 may be of heatformed polystyrene or PVC.
