Casings and arrangements of bearings.-In a fluid-pressure engine, the shaft bearings are bolted to surfaces C, on the upper or the lower half of the crank casing, in the same plane as the jointing surfaces B between the halves of the crank casing. The bearings are positioned by dowels G, and in order that the bearings may be self-alining, the holes through which the securing-bolts H pass are enlarged.
