Abstract
1448651 Piezo-electric resonator SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 15 Nov 1974 [16 Nov 1973] 49497/74 Heading H1E A quartz resonator is mounted with planar interface on a support having expansivities matching in all directions in the interface in order to reduce risk of temperature fracture. Wristwatch timing fork resonator 15 with crystal cut selected for minimum temperature coefficient of frequency and with electrode pattern chosen for low dynamic impedance is bonded to matching quartz support 32 by conductive cement, connecting the under-electrodes (Fig. 6, not shown) to the metallized areas 18, 19 on the support, the upper electrodes being wired to terminals 22, 23.
