Abstract

1497598 Mounting piezoelectric resonators DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 19 Dec 1975 [28 Dec 1974 (2)] 52073/75 Heading H1E The supporting means of a thickness-shear plate resonator engage the plate at the periphery in a nodal (e.g. central) plane. The electrodes have extension making contact with the supports which may be secured with a conductive cement. The edge 12 of the square quartz plate 11 is hollowed out so that the width of the plate is reduced in its central plane. Bifurcated supports 14 engage the edge at the centre of opposite corners to which platings 13 extend. A circular plate resonator is described (Fig. 4, not shown).
