Abstract

1490961 Mounting piezoelectric resonators DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 15 March 1976 [25 March 1975] 10295/76 Heading H1E A "tuning-fork" piezoelectric resonator is mounted by means of its leads which extend in the direction of the axis of the resonator and are attached directly to the electrodes. As shown, the leads 15c, 15d, Fig. 4A, extend through a support member 13 forming part of a housing 1, and are attached to electrodes 12c, 12d which cover both sides of the tines 3b and the base 3a of the tuning-fork resonator. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown) the leads are in the same horizontal (instead of vertical) plane and are attached to two electrodes on the upper surface of the resonator. In the modification of Fig. 5A, the leads 17a, 17b are in a horizontal common plane where they extend through the member 13, and in a common vertical plane where they are attached to electrodes 12c, 12d.
