Abstract

1444876 Lubricating SAFEMATIC Ltd OY 22 July 1974 [16 Aug 1973] 32306/74 Heading F2A A dispensing assembly for a central lubricating system comprises a base-plate 1 and a plurality of valve blocks 2 fastened thereon wherein the base-plate 1 has at least one inlet channel, e.g. 3 and a number of outlet channels, e.g. 7, the channels, e.g. 3, 7 connecting with corresponding channels, 18, 20, respectively in the valve blocks by registration at the common face 6, each outlet channel, e.g. 7, in the baseplate 1 having a non-return valve 7b, and each valve block 2 having a metering device 12. Each valve block may have two inlet channels 18, 9, connecting with two inlet channels 3, 4, respectively in the base-plate 1, and two outlet channels 20, 21 connecting with two outlet channels 7, 8, respectively in the baseplate. In use the inlet channels 3 and 4 are pressurized alternately, causing a spool valve 17 and also a metering piston 12, to swing between limiting positions and thus meter fixed quantities of lubricant to each of the outlet channels 7, 8, in turn.
