1,074,473. Hydraulic reciprocating motors. ETABLISSEMENTS PAUL JACOTTET and G. ROUSSEL. June 12, 1964 [June 20, 1963], No. 24447/64. Heading F1A. In an hydraulic motor comprising a wobbrer member 11 mounted on a crank-shaft 1 and coupled to pistons 8 reciprocating in a fixed cylinder block, the supply and exhaust of liquid is controlled by a pair of distributers 16 and 21. The distributer 16 comprises a disc eccentrically mounted on the shaft 1 and provided with inner and outer upper and lower communicating grooves which rotates between fixed port blocks 17 and 18. The distributer 16 provides alternating connections of inlet passage 19 and outlet passage 20 to the cylinders in the cylinder block under the control of distributer 21. The distributer (21), Fig. 1 (not shown), comprises a disc rotatable selectively to any one of three positions by means of a rack (24) engaging teeth on the disc. In one position (P1), Fig. 1 (not shown), both ends of each of the cylinders are alternately connected to the supply and exhaust, in a second position (P2), Fig. 2 (not shown), the ends of the cylinders adjacent the piston rods are permanently connected to the supply, by means passages in the distributer (21) communicating with a central chamber (81) in communication with the supply, and the ends of the cylinders remote from the piston rods are alternately connected to supply and exhaust, and in a third position (P3), Fig. 3 (not shown), the ends of the cylinders adjacent the piston rods are alternately connected to supply and exhaust and the ends of the cylinders remote from the piston rods are permanently connected to exhaust through channels in the distributer (21). A greater range of outputs may be obtained by associating groups of cylinders each with a selectively adjustable distributer (21). A pair of selectively adjustable distributers (21) could be replaced by a single distributer providing the same range of outputs.
