Abstract

1444425 Door frames G JEPSEN and E PEDERSEN 15 Oct 1973 [17 Oct 1972] 48544/73 Heading E1J A door jamb comprises a front part 3 and a rear element 2 inserted into a wall opening from opposite sides, an edge portion of the part 2 being received in a recess 4 in the front part 3, vertically spaced strips 9 projecting from part 3 abutting against the exterior of part 2. Ends of members 9 are held in dove-tailed grooves in part 3 and the projecting portion is secured to the wall by screws 10. Element 2 is screwed to members 9, or secured by glue or hooked fabric.
