1441806 Door frames H HOFFMANN W HOFFMANN and H BRENNENSTUHL 26 July 1973 [31 July 1972] 35754/73 Heading E1J A door frame comprises a mounting frame 2, 6, 7 secured to a wall 1 and a masking frame 3, 4 covering those faces of the mounting frame defining the opening. The mounting frame has flanges 14, 15 extending outwardly normally to the plane of the wall and against the edges of which plaster 37 can be smoothed. In Fig. 2 the mounting frame comprises a body 2 with attached plastics mouldings 6, 7. Wooden parts 3, 4 of the masking frame are secured together by a glued tongue and groove connection. In Figs. 1 and 7-10 (not shown) a mounting frame comprises frame parts connected by transverse bands 110, 111.
