Abstract

1442899 Mounting burners FORNEY INTERNATIONAL Inc 20 Feb 1974 [22 Feb 1973] 7813/74 Heading F4T A burner assembly comprises a housing 34 containing a central oil burner mounting tube 56 surrounded by a series of further mounting tubes 83 containing gas burners 60 which can be axially and rotatably adjusted within the tubes by releasing set screws 110 after disconnection of flexible hoses 90 from gas supply manifold 86. Indicators 112, 114 connected respectively to mounting tubes 83 and burners 60 show the degree of relative adjustment therebetween. Tubes 56, 83 are supported by welding to end plates 38, 44 and to a spider 70 having outer and inner collars 72, 74 connected by legs 75, the spider being connected to housing 34 by stand 78. Housing 34 is surrounded by a wind box (12, Fig. 1, not shown) mounted on a furnace wall (22).
