Abstract

1433718 Shoots TRELLEBORGS GUMMIFABRIKS AB and MATAKI AB 20 Sept 1974 [28 Sept 1973] 41109/74 Heading B8S A vertical shoot 16 for delivering material to a pile comprises a plurality of elastomeric flaps 19 resiliently biased so as to close the shoot, the flaps being progressively opened by the pressure of material as the pile is formed. As shown the flaps are connected to the shoot at their upper edges, but the connection may be at their side edges. Either a single, or two opposite walls of the shoot may comprise flaps. The shoot may be lined with wear resistant rubber. Material is fed to the pipe by an endless conveyer.
