Abstract

1354093 Pneumatic conveyers G J LACEY 28 May 1971 [28 April 1970 26 Feb 1971] 20295/70 and 5527/71 Addition to 1195201 Heading B8A Granular material is conveyed along the floor of a container towards an endless conveyer 7 for discharge through an opening 10, by means of air flowing through openings 5 in the walls of ducts 2 laid on the floor of the container. The ducts are connected to a plenum chamber and each comprise side walls joined by a roof 4 and formed with the openings 5 at their lower edges. Triangular flaps, disclosed in Specification 1,195,201, are provided adjacent the openings to direct the air downwardly and towards the phenum chamber. The conveyer 7 is provided with a housing 8 having openings 9 through which the material is fed to the conveyer. (For Figures see next column.)
