Abstract

1423806 Connecting-rods ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 15 Feb 1974 [17 Feb 1973] 7116/74 Heading F2T A piston and slide-shoe assembly for an hydraulic piston machine comprises a slide-shoe 1 having a part spherical shaft end 6 held in a bore 12 of the piston by a sleeve 13 which is fixed in place by hardened plastics material located in opposed recesses 17, 18 in the sleeve and bore. During assembly, the sleeve 13, which may be divided into two or more segments, is positioned with a gap a while hardenable plastics material is injected through a bore 20 to permanently connect the assembly together. In another embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown), the plastics material is injected to fill both the gap (a) and the opposed recesses adjacent the lower end of a two-segment sleeve (26) while the sleeve is lifted by a member (29).
