Abstract
1423394 Trays; packaging cans A-T-O Inc 21 March 1973 13657/73 Headings B8P and B8C A tray erected from a blank comprises a bottom wall 12 having rounded corners 14, side and end walls 18, 20, 22 and 24, and tabs 16 which are hinged to central portions of the corners 14 and are stapled or adhered to the side and end walls. The tabs 16 may be rectangular and overlie projecting end portions 30 whose adjacent edges abut one another. In further embodiments the end edges of the side and end walls are straight and spaced from each other, and the tabs include projecting wing portions (16a<SP>1</SP>, Figs. 9 and 11 or 76, 78, Figs. 11 and 12) which overlie the side and end walls. The tray may hold cans and be overwrapped.
