Abstract

1422499 Feeding sheets W L TOTTLE 5 March 1974 9874/74 Heading B8R Sheets are separated from the top of a pile 3 by a pair of friction rollers 1 on a shaft 2, and there is provided at each side of the pile a finger 4 inclined at 45 degrees and engaging the front of the pile, so that the top sheet buckles so that its front corners press down on the sheet below and prevents double feed, and then flips over the fingers. (For Figure see next column.)
