Abstract

1410799 Feeding sheets XEROX CORP 8 Dec 1972 [8 Dec 1971] 56667/72 Heading B8R A pile of sheets 40 in a cassette is spring urged upwardly against feed rollers 32 which rotate first rearwardly to buckle the top sheet 41 against back stops, and then forwardly so that the sheet 41 passes over tab members 36 (38) and between separated feed rollers 42, 44 to abut leading edge registering stops 46. As feed rollers 42 and 44 come together to nip the sheet 41 therebetween, stops 46 are pivoted downwardly out of the path of travel of the sheet into electrostatic copying apparatus (Fig. 5), and tab members 36 (38) lower the pile away from rollers 32.
