Abstract
1402599 Feeding and stripping sheets CANON KK 23 Nov 1972 [25 Nov 1971] 54255/72 Heading B8R In an electro-photographic copying machine a pair of spaced parallel guide plates 201, 202 define a path there between along which a transfer sheet P separated from a pile by a roller 46 is guided into intimate contact with the surface of a photosensitive drum 17. Upper guide plate 202 has the forward edge formed into a convex curve (Fig. 5), and the lower guide plate 201 has the forward edge formed into a straight line (Fig. 5) or a concave curve (Fig. 6) with respect to the surface of the drum 17. The pile is urged upwards by springs. The sheet is stripped from the drum by a belt 40.
