Abstract

1420166 Dispensing containers PFIZER Inc 22 Oct 1973 [14 Nov 1972] 49079/73 Heading B8P A container for towels saturated in a solvent liquid comprises a body 10 moulded of opaque polystyrene 0À030 inch thick, an apertured panel 26 retaining the towels 12 and seated on a shelf 24 in the body 10, and a removable lid 36 having finger recesses 46 whereby it can be flexed to release it from projections 38 along two of the edges of the lid. A sealed cover sheet (30), which may be of laminated foil and paper, is provided on a flange 28. The panel 26 may be sonically welded to the shelf 24 and a corner of flange 28 is recessed to facilitate stripping of the cover sheet 30. The sides of the body are slightly concave and strengthened by vertical ribs.
