Abstract
142,010. Aaltonen, Y. J. Aug. 28, 1919. Motor wheels.-Engines for motor wheels &c. have radial cylinders and crank-shafts which rotate in opposite directions, the gearing between each crank-shaft and a cylinder casing comprising a pinion 4, planetary wheels 3, and an internallytoothed wheel 2. The planetary wheels 3 are carried by a frame secured normally to a fixed eugine support 5 by a friction clutch 6. By releasing the clutch and securing against rotation either the cylinder casing 1, or the crank shaft, the crank shaft or casing is free to rotate alone.
