1408852 Coated sheet material DAINI SEIKOSHA KK and SEIKOSHA KK 23 Feb 1973 [8 March 1972 27 March 1972 11 Oct 1972] 9061/73 Heading B2E [Also in Division H4] A transparent sheet material has a transparent conductive coating and a further layer of a fluorine-containing organic polymer treated to orientate a nematic liquid crystal material contacted therewith in a display device (see Div. H4). The substrate may be glass or plastics and the conductive coating tin or indium oxide. The polymer may be a polycarbon fluoride or polyfluoroethylene the treatment may be rubbing.
