Abstract

1407589 Two-part couplings - wiring systems ROTAFLEX (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd 26 Jan 1973 [25 Nov 1971] 54731/71 Heading H2E A channel wiring conduit T (right side only shown in Fig. 2) may be tapped on one side at any point by a slideable adaptor 1 with contacts 5 urged into contact with conductor rails C and N by cams turned by rectangular knob 3, which exposes sockets for a plug connector only when the contacts are engaged, so that the load must be disconnected before contact with the rails is broken. Locking lugs 4 are also forced into position on both sides of the channel by a cam, (not shown), thus preventing removal of the adaptor while connected. The adaptor may be turned through 180‹ to contact the other set of rails, (not shown).
