1,185,675. Edge-connectors. ELCO CORP. 14 March, 1967 [17 March, 1966], No. 57311/69. Divided out of 1,185,674. Heading H2E. The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that disclosed in Specification 1,185,674, but the claims are concerned with an electrical card-edge connector system comprising a plurality of elongated insulating housings each with a lengthwise extending channel for receiving the edge of a respective printed circuit board having conductive pads thereon, the housings being arranged side by side with the channels in parallel relationship, and a plurality of contacts electrically connected by an integral bus strip and associated with at least two of the housings for engagement with conductive pads of the different printed circuit boards when inserted therein.
