Abstract

1405290 Knitted garments PILOT RESEARCH CORP 3 Oct 1972 [4 Oct 1971] 45609/ 72 Heading A3V [Also in Division D1] A seamless lower body garment comprises two legs 10, 11 consisting of successive complete courses, a panty portion comprising fashioned extensions 14, 15 formed of partial courses extending upwardly from each leg and fashioned front and rear gussets 16, 17 integral with these fashioned portions and having upper selvage edges B1, B2 forming the edges of a waist opening. Elastic yarn may be fed into the fabric adjacent the waist opening. A panty, panty girdle or the like may be knitted, the legs being short and hemmed or tights may be knitted.
