Abstract

1401775 Electric watches SUWA SEIKOSHA K K 7 Sept 1972 [13 Sept 1971(2) 23 Sept 1971] 41581/72 Heading G3T The setting arrangements described for digital wholly electronic timepieces are substantially the same as described in copending Specification 1401776. In one slight modification however, illustrated in Fig. 1, gates G11, G22, G33 are provided to prevent carry signals when correcting individual digits of the time indication on a display 7. Thus for example if the tens of minutes indication is to be corrected following correction of the hours indication, a carry signal might occur which would change the hours indication and this is prevented by the gates, a control signal K being applied to all of the gates during a setting operation. The timepiece may be used as a stop watch as suggested with reference to Fig. 7 (not shown).
