Abstract

Seat adjustments.-In a chair of the type having adjustable back and seat members hinged together at F, means are provided whereby the back may be adjusted in a substantially vertical direction, the seat in a substantially horizontal direction, and the front edge of the seat as to its vertical height above the ground. Fig. 1 shows such a chair in which the hooks or slots E<1> engage with a rod or pins C<1>, while the slots D' engage a rod C, itself vertically adjustable in slots B'.
