1400213 Adjustable vehicle seats H R TURNER (WILLENHALL) Ltd 19 July 1973 [30 May 1972] 25192/72 Heading A4J A vehicle seat cushion frame 10 is adjustably mounted on a pedestal 12 by providing at each corner of the frame a plate 16 or 18, the plates being coupled in pairs, each pair being provided with a separate operating handle 28 and the cushion frame being biased towards the raised position by a spring or springs 44 connected between at least the rear of the pedestal and the rear of the seat frame. Each plate 16 or 18 which is pivotally connected to the seat frame is provided with a gate slot engaged by a pin 24 mounted on a bracket 26 fixed to the pedestal and passing through a slot in a plate 22 fixed to the seat frame.
