A seat cushion support comprises a flexible sheet 10 formed by front and rear spring steel wires 14 covered with paper and interconnected by spring steel wires 20 passing through cross wires 24, the sheet 10 being mounted within a rectangular frame 2 with its rear end stapled, at 26, to the rear rail 4, its front end secured by springs 12 to the front rail 2 and its sides being free of attachment to the frame.
