A vehicle seat comprises a plurality of individually covered resilient blocks 2, e.g. of foamed rubber, arranged side by side, with or without a gap i, and secured to a flexible web 3 and a cushion roll 1 surrounding the blocks 2 and secured to the web 3, the blocks 2 and roll 1 not being inter-connected otherwise than by the web 3. A resilient web 6 is disposed between the web 3 and the seat shell 4, the latter being supported by tubular frame members 5.
