Abstract

1,071,080. Securing upholstery to seats. MASSEY-FERGUSON Ltd. Sept. 25, 1964 [Sept. 30, 1963], No. 39103/64. Heading A4M. A cover 32 for a seat member 22 includes a portion 34 to extend over a cushion 30 on the seat member and overlie a peripheral portion of the back surface (26) of the seat member. Cover positioning means such as plates 70, 76, 82 are disposed within a seam 36 on the cover 32 and provided with means such as hooks 72, 78, 84 removably receivable in notches 52, 60, 62 in plates 42, 54, 62 secured to the seat member 22. A pair of wire members 88 with hooked ends 90, 92 extend through the seam 36 and are removably engageable with the hooks 72, 78 and with suitable holes 48 in a flange 46 secured to the seat member.
