Abstract

1400086 Kerbs R ANSGARIUSSON 28 Nov 1972 [28 June 1972] 54926/72 Heading E1G A concrete kerb block 1 having a complementary tongue 10 and recess 9 on opposite ends is provided on one side 3 and one end 4 with moulded-in flat iron lugs 6, 11 which protrude from the respective faces to receive anchoring spikes 15, 16 driven into asphalt 14. As shown there are three side lugs 6, and one end lug 11 which is offset from the block centre line, while the block has a bottom recess 13 at the end 5 to accommodate the lug 11 of an adjacent block. The footpath surfacing 18 overlies a gravel layer 17.
