1,136,444. Kerbstones. A. L. BERGKVIST and B. O. E. PERSSON. 9 Nov., 1966 [9 Nov., 1965], No. 50271/66. Heading E1G. A concrete kerbstone, laid on the surface of the paving, has a flat roughened bottom face and an outwardly inclined road-side face, the kerbstone being secured to the road or like paving surface by bitumen adhesive, with or without a levelling layer of cement, and may have a drainage slot transversely across the base. The kerbstone may have angled ends, for providing curvature of the kerb at bends, or may be quadrantal in plan with an opening for a road sign post.
