Abstract

1399438 Display stand M I GLASS [trading as MARVIN GLASS & ASSOCIATES] 3 Oct 1973 [2 July 1973] 46139/73 Heading A4T [Also in Division B8] In an assembly of nestable trays which may be releasably locked in a stacked position to form a display stand, each tray comprises a base 28 and upstanding walls 30 which define article-receiving compartments 32, a nesting compartment 34 also being provided in each lower tray for receiving the adjacent upper tray. The mouth of each compartment 34 is defined by an inwardly directed flange 40. Each upper tray is provided on two opposed sides with resilient lugs 42. The trays are lifted into the stacked position by means of a handle 56, the movement being completed when the lugs snap over the associated flanges 40. A peripheral flange 38 round the base of each tray serves to retain the articles in the compartments 32 and to limit the separation of the trays by engaging beneath the associated flange 40. The trays may be returned to their nested positions by pushing the lugs 42 inwards. A cover 10 which may be transparent is provided to lock over the nested trays.
