Abstract

1337982 Stackable containers JOHN DALE Ltd and DEXION-COMINO INTERNATIONAL Ltd 21 April 1971 [8 May 1970] 22414/70 Heading B8P A stackable plastics container of the kind having a front wall 4 lower than the remaining walls has a tongue 7 on the top of the side and rear walls and a ledge on the outside of the tongue on the sides and a further ledge 9 on the inside of the tongue on the rear wall to facilitate the stacking and prevent distortion. The underside of the base has two channels corresponding to the tongues 7 on the side walls whereby one container can be stacked on another by being slid into position from the front 4. Notches 13 in the tongues 7 are engaged by cross-pegs (14, Fig. 2) in the channels on the underside of the base to prevent relative sliding of stacked containers. A label holder 6 is provided.
