Abstract

1323946 Stacking containers G P G HOLDINGS Ltd 27 June 1972 [18 May 1971] 15479/71 Heading B8P To enable tiers of containers to be stacked in an overlapping and interlocking arrangement projections 5, 6, 7 are provided on the container bases the adjacent walls of a lower pair of containers being located between adjacent projections on a superposed container, there being ribs 12 between the projections 5, 6, 7 to prevent these projections jamming between the rollers of a conveyer. The ribs 12 are accommodated in rebates 21 between adjacent walls. The rebates may be of V, U, or rectangular section, or may extend to the full depth of the container. The container may be injection moulded and of a plastics material.
