1395598 Container closures W SCHIEMANN 29 Nov 1972 [18 Dec 1971] 55150/72 Heading B8T A container for liquid substantially as in Specification 1,314,129 has a lip 104 welded at 106 to the top surface of the rim 85 of the container lid and designed so that it immediately comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing ring 14 in the event of a rearward blow on the lid. A leaf-spring 89 is riveted to one of the claws 27 and a pin 98, riveted to the leaf-spring, snaps under the lower side 99 of the carrier member 26 to lock the lid when it is closed.
