Abstract

1393250 Valves UNITED GAS INDUSTRIES Ltd 13 July 1972 [24 July 1971] 34826/71 Heading F2V In a refrigerator control a gas cock and an electric switch are actuated by a common means such that when the gas cock is turned on the switch is turned off and vice versa. The gas cock 30 is in a manifold 20 attached to the temperature-operated valve 16 of Specification 1,375,550, and is mounted adjacent the switch 19 which has two switching devices for alternate electric supplies to the refrigerator. The common actuating means is a rotatable slotted cylinder 42 which co-operates with a cam actuating the switching devices and a bore in the gas cock and has three different positions corresponding to the "on" positions of the first switching device, the gas cock, and the second switching device respectively.
